Rome June 24th, 2005 - Il Volo del DragoSifu Francesco Palmieri organized a little meeting called "Il volo del Drago". 
It was a very interesting evening, with a double purpose: first of all for Professor Lanciotti (80 years old)
who dedicated all his entire life for studying China and its culture. He is really famous and a great character:
during his life, he wrote many books concerning his activity. He honored us with his presence and after our exhibition
he spoke about Traditional Kung Fu, origins and literature.
Martial Arts in the World Assn participate in this meeting and probably we join a good collaboration together. Second purpose was the organization of a new Association between Traditional Kung Fu Masters: joining our experiences we can continue to work on traditions and spread Martial Arts like they are before. Actually, also in China, Modern Wushu have more pupils than ancient Martial Arts (also for a particular politic decision). So we decided to organize this event and create this new Association on the 24th of June 2005. Masters in the event:
Let's talk about technical part of this exhibition. Martone Kwoon (EHGA Italia) performed its Lion Dance, than all the other Schools. Sifu Fabbricatore Tang Lang School performed both with free hands and weapons. He exhibited in an incredible form with a sword. 
Sifu Lattanzi School performed Bak Siulam forms while he showed us a form with daggers.In the second part, Lam and Chiu family Schools exhibited: these Schools are the oldest in Italy. Sifu Palmieri and Martone showed a great friendship and fraternity, basilar peculiarity in Traditional Kung Fu. Sifu Palmieri performed Foo Hok Dui Da with one of his Instructors. Martone Kwoon showed almost all Hung Ga program, free hands and with weapons. Sifu Luigi Martone performed Ng Long Bat Gwa Gwan and Ng Ying Kuen, Instructors Mirko Sacchi and Daniele Leoni showed Tiger and Crane Set. 
Finally, we are really satisfied about this event and this new Association. We hope we can obtain great results concerning our Traditional Kung Fu.
