Tournaments with EHGA Italia and Martone Kwoon participationMay 23rd, 1998 - VI Open International Kung Fu Championship. Foundation of EHGA (European Hung Gar Association). In Graben-Neudorf (near Karlsruhe), for the first time an european level competition took act, with category dedicated only to Hung Ga. Partecipating nations: Germany, Polland, Italy, Holland, Switzerland. Then, many athletes partecipated to an International Wu-shu and Sanda Tournament. For the italian team, Girolami Pierfrancesco and Mauriello Salvatore classified on fourth and fifth place in Hung Ga Forms - expert. Contacts EHGA (ehga@email.it) May 15th-16th, 1999 - VII Open International Kung Fu/Wushu Championships. For the second year, our school partecipated to the german tournament (Karlsruhe). Partecipating nations: Germany, Holland, Polland, Italy, Switzerland, Norway, Canada (guest of the event). It was divided into several categories according to the different styles: Wushu Tournament and Sanda. Italian Athletes: Girolami Pierfrancesco (second place in free hands category and fourth in weapons one), Mauriello Salvatore (fourth in weapons category and fifth in free hands one), Bastianelli Davide and Mariano Sofia (both classified at the third palce in Sanda Fighting). At the end, Master Vernon Rieta kept a technical stage, based on the applications of Hung Ga style main techniques. Contacts EHGA (ehga@email.it) April 16th, 2000 - First World Hung Gar Kung Fu Championships. Karlsruhe - First World Hung Ga Championship was acted, organized by Master A. Garski. Partecipating nations: USA, Canada, Greek, Germany, Holland, Polland, Italy, Sweden, Switzerland, Scotland e Czech Rep. Because of big partecipation, Wushu and Sanda Tournaments were divided in several categories. For what concern the italian athletes: Girolami Pierfrancesco and Mauriello Salvatore for Hung Ga forms, while Bastianelli Davide, Giangiacomo Enza, Mariano Sofia have prtecipated in Sanda Fighting. At the end, Master Lam Chun Fai kept a technical stage concerning "Foo Hol Seung Ying Kuen" form. Contacts EHGA (ehga@email.it) March 17th, 2001 - First National Ehga-Italia Championship. Rome - First national championship organized by Ehga-Italia took act. Many people coming, competing with serious and appreciable sportsmanlike qualities. In Rome, the Hung Gar event of the year: International Hung Gar Kung Fu Championship - Rome 2002. 15 nations invited; 20 categories divided for age and level. Rome - JFGKF organized a complete event, with fights and form. Our School was invited by Sifu Alessandro Colonnese. In this article, all our impressions and results. Big success and audience presence. High technical levels. In the evening exhibition and Lion Dance Contacts EHGA (ehga@email.it) March 20th, 2005 - Dragon Cup. Rome - Sifu Alessandro Colonnese invited Martone Kwoon to this Tournament. Martone's pupils got all first places in the 2002 edition. They did the same in 2005: they conquered all the podium in Free Hands, Long and Short Weapon (except for the first place in this last one). Contacts Ehga-Italia (info@hunggarkuen.it) April 24th, 2005 - Memorial Chiu Kow Tournament Rome - In memory of the Grandmaster Chiu Kow, Ehga Italia and AHKI organized and International Hung Ga Forms Tournament. In the evening exhibition and Lion Dance Contacts EHGA (ehga@email.it) March 3rd, 2006 - 4th European Hung Ga Championship Bronschhofen was the host of the Chinese Championships. Grand Master, Masters and other great names in Kung Fu honoured us by their presence. In spite of the strong snowfall, it honoured us during the entire week end, a couple of hundreds people came to participate to the events.
